After looking at pictures of some of the strictly home theater rooms it's amazing how the bug gets you again.
On our budget conversion we went with a theater and kind of a side snack area. By doing this we were only able to have 4 seats directly facing the screen, but you could put additional seating on the sides. The one thing that really made this option attractive for us is the room could serve a little more use other than just a theater room and during some of those cold Indiana winter days it's nice just to go down to the larger space to just kind of stretch if that makes sense.
Butttttt.....back to the topic at hand. Wow when you see such beautiful dedicated only theaters in here the thought process changes and makes me rethink my next build.
So as the thread title alludes to, does anyone regret going with the multipurpose room only or even the other way does someone with the dedicated theater room find they wish they had made it multipurpose?

in my theater, and seating, sound, and lighting are supportive of all. No cramped spaces, no compromises on sound or lighting.
