Oh I think we all got a bit spoiled here
, though noted that the volume level on the Robert Trent Jones Golf commercials on This! is exremely high. .. I understand some TV's control this volume level change. I confess I watch very little network OTA, but again I wouldn't be watching any more TV if I had a subscription service either. I understand something has to pay the light bill over at the station & accept this.
I know we occasionally go off topic here, I need to transfer some older VHS tapes over to DVD. What I'm looking for is some sort of reasonably priced interface that will do this. I had purchased a couple in the past & had to return them... as they needed a high speed internet to complete install.
My requirement is that the accompanying software need not be connected to the internet to complete an install or resistration. I have a Windows Vista Machine I would like to dedicate for this task, & this machine is not connected to the internet. Any recommendations on what I would need for this task hardware/software wise? I have tried playing around with Windows Movie Maker in editing a home made DVD with no luck. For me it was much simpler in the days with multiple VCR's, I had edited a few security videos for court cases in the past, & used to do a fairly good job.
BOT, I noted that OMW is no longer around in it's present form, & has gone by the wayside of something called tweeter & facebook.
