Sanyo plv-z2000

Dont know much about projectors. Is a Sanyo PLV-Z2000 with about 500hrs on the lamp for 1550 a good price? a simple yes or no would be great thanks

No. You can get a brand new 1080p for less than that. Try the X10, or even the Epson 6100 gets to about that price when on sale.

You could get a 720p if you are just starting out, it's cheaper and would completely satisfy as a first projector.

After rebates, I bought mine new for $ 1750 last year. A new bulb will run you about $ 250, so I'd say the projector is worth the cash if they threw in a new bulb. Otherwise, I wouldn't pay more than $1400 for it. The current bulb will most likely last at least another 500-1000 hours.

It's a very good projector and is better than Sanyo's current budget 1080P since it has inorganic panels.
