Which surround Energy CR-10, RC-R, or C-R100?

I've got a set of older e:xls that I'm using for mains and center, and am looking to add 6 surrounds (4 side, 2 back). Prefer to stay in the energy line. Does anyone have any of these and could provide a review? It seems that only the C-R100 is widely available.

the C-R100's should work just fine and provide excellent performance as surrounds, especially for the price. You will be very happy.

I'm in the same situation looking for Energy surrounds. I'm gonna have 3 RC-70's as my front L/C/R. I really want to get 4 RC-R's for side/rear surrounds but their price is halting me at the moment. Would it be okay if I went with the C-R100's instead? Since they aren't in the same lineup as RC's I wouldn't want them to sound too different that it would be noticeable.
One more thing, as I was contacting dealers about these surrounds I had one who said he thought the RC-R's weren't being made anymore, is this true?

Possibly so. The C-R100s aren't being made anymore either. That's why the prices are so good, they're on clearance. The new CR-10s are the model that replaces the C-R100's.

I really haven't found anywhere that has the CR-R's for a good price, they all have them at MSRP still. You know of somewhere that has a good deal on them? Pm me if so!

I purchased 6 CR-10s from WWstereo tonight. The deal on the CR100 has run out ($79 each). They have B-Stock CR-10s for $140. Good enough for me.
