Have a 20 x 30 open "game" room, with the tv and sitting area in ohe-half of the room. Need suggestions on two front and center speakers. Budget = $1,500 to 2,500. Attached is pic of tv part of room.

I think most people are going to want more information. What kind of music? Mainly for TV? Movies? Music? Like to listen loud? Soft?

Movies and TV -50/50. Country to Rock to Buble. Soft or loud depending on the music and mood. In other words, as much range as possible.

You need something to deaden the acoustics, whether it's a rug or acoustical panels. In a room that big, if you want to play it loud ever, I'd look at Klipsch.

Agreed.

Klipsch or possibly some older JBL
(maybe newer too, i'm not familiar with the newer lines). Until that wood floor is addressed, though, you will not be happy. My last home had a great finifhed basement for a theater. Quite similar to your room, I had an 18' wide by 32' deep space with hardwood veneer flooring, and even worse a lot of wood paneling on the walls. I ended up scrapping the flooring for wall-to-wall carpet

My current abode is all tile, and I have utilized are rugs and plush couches to great success.
