Help my NMT player EHP-606 DVD playing

Hello Guys, i have a query. how can we get full screen image on lcd with a 4:3 video, played through dvd rom. i tried all settings but the image continues to be 4:3. i have put the latest firmware. from the old firmware i did not have this issue. The tv is a 16:9 sony lcd. if i set it to 4:3 i will have black bands on the right and left.i want the video to be fuuly covered on the lcd.

Did you test a dvd which has a 4:3 aspect ratio and play it on EHP-606 through a dvd rom. and without zooming try out which setting gives a full screen image. zooming the tv or through 606 will spoil the image. I need to have the setting without artificial zooming?

Yes, it is the file from external USB dvd, all kind of formats they are, avi, mkv... but it seems work very good with the late firmware, after I update the latest firmware: new:090201-(606)softwail[2009-4-15], it happened with such problelms.

4:3 files from HDD is exactly very good presented, but from external HDD, it is contorted

Yes, I just roll back to the late firmware to play these files, it is strang why it can not support, I am wondering the firmware is something wrong. I will update it one again to see how it goes. Anyway, I like this EHP-606 very much!-
