looking for a decent 65"

Panasonic or Sharp are really your only two options. No one else makes a 65 inch flat panel.

Definitely get the 65" Panasonic plasma. It has excellent image processing and much better motion resolution than the Sharp. The Sharp has issues with image processing, as do most Sharp sets. This comparison is based on published lab test data for both sets. Also, IMO Sharp sets have a rather "cheesy" build quality these days. This cheaper look is probably the result of cost cutting, but remember, you get what you pay for!

yes, panny is the way the go with 65inch plasma's. I do a lot of AV installs for events & the panasonic's can take a beating & still be realible
