Nope, not on the glass outside, it's inside. I noticed them when confirming my tv's dead pixel free. So normally, a quick search on here or a bit of googling will get me answers, but noone seems to have suffered/noticed?/posted about this. There's alot of people with scratches on the glass, but not on the screen behind. Strangely enough, they were all spread out over pretty much one line from up to down (as if someone was measuring something's height and used his marker a few times)..
So this tv's brand new, the few scratches inside are harder to spot than a dead pixel (can only see them with a solid color blackground, with your nose on the screen and looking from an angle).. knowing where it is doesn't matter, you just won't see it from over 2 feet distance. So the scratches themselves don't bother me.
My question is however, that I wonder if these scratches (which is 'damage' strictly speaking) to the inner screen will have an influence on the performance of my tv and lifespan of it?
