Home Theater PC!

I'm moving in 2 months so I'll have a nice wall unit and most importantly...WIRES hidden

I just added some new speakers so I figured hey let me show some guys what I have. It's basically a home theater PC with 4.5 TB of data capacity that stores high definition content and a slew of FLAC/MP3's. It's loaded with over 20 TV shows (every season of the shows) and over 200 high definition movies! It all runs through a custom XBMC skin.

Here's it in action and the pics below to follow. The remote control is great it's like having a Wii (you wave the remote control in the air to move the mouse) and it's RF based so I don't have to point it at the case. Speaking of the computer case, it's quieter than my Xbox 360 you don't even hear it.

All you need to do now is wire management.

Nice HTPC! I got one too, you'll have lots of fun with it, can't wait to see your pics once your settled and moved in 2 months.

Where did you that case? I love the fact that it really has an HT component look to it. Blends in nicely with everything else. it would be even better if it had a covor for the front audio/USB ports.

Latinoheat...thanks man! I have been using a HTPC the last 3 years or so but now I finally opted to build a dedicated machine that's quiet and fits nicely in with the rest of my equipment! When I move in two months I'm getting a whole wall unit for my TV and all. The clear tower to the right of my TV now is nice and all but does nothing for hiding wires.

Nice set up! Almost went the route of HTPC a few years back, but I think that in order to make it worth while you have to be half way computer literate, which I am not. Nice find on the HTPC casing, looks like it will work great for you. I'm guessing your CC is magnetically shielded?

Amen! I don't like them any more than everyone else but this is temporary (the exposed wires). I'm not wall mounting the TV when I move and it's going on a wall unit so all the wires will just hide behind the unit.

Thanks for that website I might take a look at them when I move for the surround speakers. Which part would you recommend from them to just hide simple speaker wire going to the back speakers (wires would be riding along the floor).
