Upgrading on the cheap

I just emptied my wallet on a new tv and ps3. Sadly, my old receiver only decodes dolby digital 5.1 and not DTS.
I'm definitely more of a videophile than audiophile, so I don't need crazy pristine HD 7.1, but would like to get at least some surround sound for my BluRays with only DTS tracks.

Does anyone know of a cheap receiver (not too much more than $100, userd or refurbished would be fine too if need be) that would do the trick? Or should I just wait it out until my wallet is no longer doing that cartoon thing where moths come out of it and get a new $3-400 receiver somewhere in the future?

If you just purchased a new tv, you'll eventually want a receiver with HDMI audio. $100 is pushing it for a receiver with HDMI audio capabilities. $200ish and over you start to get into refurbs that will fit your needs, I'd advise saving a little more.
