Compatible 8" tubes

Hey all,

I've got a BG1208/2 with a green 180DVB22 that's getting awful tired, and like everybody else my entertainment budget has gotten very thin lately, so my question is this: What other tubes are electrically compatible with the 180DVB?

I've been reading old posts for a couple of hours now and have come up with a short list:

180DVB
180DMB
P16LCP
P16LJE (too small)
P16LNN
P16LNQ
P16LNP
PT18-205 (?)

can anybody add to this?

Also has anybody ever heard of/seen a master catalog of Panasonic crt tubes with descriptions, specifications, and/or pin-outs? Or just a way of deciphering tube model numbers?

Thanx for any info,
Winterj

Agreed on the LJE I don't think that will work and I have never heard of a p16lcp. The P16LNQs are compatible (mine were for an Ampro Retro set so I had to swap hardware) and I am 90% sure P16LNPs are as well. There is a PT-18 something used in the Barco 1208s/2 that is also compatible but the number escapes me at the moment.

Anybody heard of a CRT catalog, or another means of decrypting model #'s?
