You will never guess what happened to me today. I went to Best Buy to purchase the 58B550 (using my replacement authorization a little over $2300 to spend). Well they were out of them and they could not find any at the other locations as well as their warehouse. I've been working with the same best buy salesman for the last month, so he knew how frustrated I was. I'd made a final choice 2 different times on a TV that they didn't have....
So at this point he was going to do his best to help me out. This guy goes on his computer for about 7-10 minutes and is just going from screen to screen to screen pushing buttons and writing down numbers (I didn't know what he was doing)....
Anyway, he comes back and says. I found you a B650 and I am going to price match is down to the price of the B550.... (THAT'S A $600 PRICE DIFFERENCE)
I'd not even considered that TV cause it was WAY OUT of my price range (with what they'd allowed for my replacement), so I have not done any research on it at all..., but from the looks of what we saw, they are the exact same except the 650 has the networking features and it's a red touch of color instead of grey...(I really wanted the grey, but HEY, IM NOT COMPLAINING AT ALL.)
I am posting this just to show that if you are patient and don't make a rushed decision, GOOD THINGS WILL COME.
I am also posting this to let everyone know.... NOT ALL BEST BUY EMPLOYES ARE HOW PEOPLE MAKE THEM OUT TO BE!!!!
I really like the guys at my best buy!!!! And I just want the whole world to know that!!!!!
Oh yeah, I get my Samsung PN58B650 on Friday.
