Setup options for HK AVR-254 or 354.

Hi H/K guru's


I'm thinking of getting one or the other for a lot of reasons but mainly for the OSD. What I'm curious about is I will be watching TV 60-70% of the time with the receiver off.(mainly my better half) Some of the Denons will pass the signal thru from the last source selected even after it's off. Does the HK have anything like that?

If not, what would be the best way to do this?

No, those HK's don't have that feature.

Your option would be to power the receiver on and turn the volume down or buy one of the Denons.

I guess some of the Yamaha's have this as well.

Any of the Pioneers???
