I have been waiting for iPhone control of my Netstreams Digilinx system. Has anyone used iLinx yet? Any testimonials? There are no reviews yet in the Apps store.

Although I work for NetStreams, we are not the developers of iLinX and have no fiscal involvement with the sale of the app. So I am not entirely biased

I've been using it for a while and it is simple, fast, effective and fun to use. It controls every service in my system, including excellent viewing and control of the IP cameras.

Everyone in my family uses it and we all really like it. Zero issues with it.

Download and insatall the app, make sure your Touch or iPhone is logged onto a wireless network that has access to your DigiLinX network and the app configures itself automatically. NO programming! I was up and running in 1 minute. Very slick!

There is now a free version of iView in the app store. It lets you see everything that you would get if you bought it. It also allows you to select rooms and sources, set the volume, and see all of the other screens that are configured in your system.

I downloaded it and played around with it. As a totally unbiased opinion I think it's great. The HVAC screen was a little slow loading at first but everything else worked surprisingly good. The screens resemble the screens on the TouchLinx so it is not totally foreign except for ways you select certain things (more like the typical iPhone look and feel).

I have my system setup pretty well with remotes and touch screens but I will probably buy it for the impress your friends cool factor.

There is also now an upgrade available that enables you to use the iPod Touch or iPhone iLinX app to schedule events and use it as an alarm clock.
Through some clever code which the dealer installs on a ControLinX, you can now have an intuitive alarm interface right in your hand!

So you use the iphone interface to setup the alarm and the alarm is actually the DigiLinx audio system?

How can this work? I thought the DigiLinx system doesn't have a real time clock.

As I said, there is some clever code installed onto a ControLinX. The time is sync'd via iLinX (and the app on the CL-100 also attempts internet time lookup if there is a gateway). It works well and it is really nice to use (the alarm set time app within iLinX is great!)

Buzz, before we Digilinx users spend more $ on a 3rd party solution to missing functionality in Digilinx, can you identify EXACTLY what is needed in order to get the audio portion of Digilinx to work as either an Alarm or Sleep Timer? And what EXACTLY does the ControlLinx control for this functionality? (e.g. can it select a Playlist from an SMM? or can the volume be controlled?).

Will it require further involvement by an installer (who does not support iLinx, and most likely does not know how to integrate the ControlLinx)? If yes, what would be a reasonable budget to get this functionality (which is built into a system like Sonos)?
