I've been researching projectors for several days now, and honestly I'm ready to pull my hair out. This started as an idea to have a "backyard theatre" for my kids (I have 4 boys). Seemed like a simple enough project, boy was I wrong. I am so confused about what to buy. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, but I don't want to waste my money either. I've looked at ebay (OX Pro Series from ***********) Epson, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, etc. etc. I think for my purposes, the Epson 700 looks like a pretty good buy. Not pricey compared to the other models, but again, pricey for an "activity" for the kids. Does anyone know anything about the OX Pro models? I've researched the company as best as I could. They are on the BBB, but that may not really mean a whole lot. They offer a similar model for quite a bit more. The main difference I can see is the lumens (1600) compared to Epsons (2000). I don't have a theatre room and anything like that. This would mainly be outside at night, or down in the basement, which has no windows. I like the Epsons USB and SD card slots. Bulbs aren't too bad, compared to others I've seen, but do I really need to spend that much if the OX Pro is comparable? Any suggestions? Other model to consider?
Thanks,
Shannon
