I know I did! Last night was an example of the Glee show I enjoy: variety of songs, variety of ways of presenting songs (glee cast in rehearsal studio which I love the most, music videos, library), not too serious except for the end, which was fine by me.
Notice how they used a theme that didn't box into one type of song or one artist. They've done that more often than not (Wasn't there a theme with songs with the word "love" in the title? and other themes that are not coming to the top of my head right now) and it suits the show well in terms of broad appeal.
I usually cringe when Mr. Shue raps (think "Gold Digger"), but it made sense with "Ice Ice Baby."
Before the song numbers aired I didn't know the songs in advance, and told my wife that I bet we'll see Ice Ice Baby and U Can't Touch This. Run Joey Run was a pleasant surprise, I just don't have personal familiarity with it since it is before my time but I've heard of it being referred to as the "worst song ever in the worst music video ever," so that was very fitting too. So was "Let's Get Physical," which although not sung by the Glee cast, probably fits as a song that makes people cringe now.
