Was that a joke because P-E is Canadian? I hope so, 'cause what I think he's looking for is an actual customer with an actual "new" replacement amp.... just sayin'.

I copied the image so people can see it without hunting for it. MLS posted this yesterday.

I thought everyone might want to have a peek at what the new amp boards look like...

Very nicely done - and extreme care has been taken to make this RELIABLE and REPEATABLE beyond any words or conditions...

Have a nice holiday...

All the best...

Klipsch...thanks for posting that. I'm not a EE, but it "looks" nicely done. I guess those are the ones that were redesigned and going into the new amps and MFWs.

It was a while ago, but that looks substantially different than the previous ones. You've been inside yours, right? Big difference?

it suddenly all makes sense now!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we start receiving these things within the next few days.... Also, I may have asked this question before, but I never got an answer, are we getting "new amps with boards", or just the board/module and we have remove the old board from the current amps that we posses?

MLS goes back in time to change all the MWF amps before the subwoofer is even released!

Skynet is the evil computer system that seeks to wipe out mankind in the Terminator movies. It seems that MLS is no longer satisfied with making people watch movies without any bass, now he wants us all dead!

I haven't had the board out to see yet but it does look like a well done part and made in the USA to boot!

Ah....OK....I didn't make that whole "Terminator" connection.

Yeah....sounds like this is finally coming to fruition for all those "bad amp parts" folks. That's good to see/hear.

Klipsch, "made in U.S.A." alleviates all the Chinese amp manufacturer issues, too.

any idea if this will fix the hum issue that is NOT ground loop based? I really want to be cheater plug free for piece of mind.

The hum issue that is not ground loop was caused by the source cabling in the sub being routed by the transformer. Has nothing to do with a cheater plug. I would hope AV123 is re-routing the wires.

Since this fix does not involve the actual power supply, the MFW will still use a 3 prong power cord.

Back to the original question: has anyone received their shipping notification yet?

I looked at his MFW note--there is nothing in there about a date. Just more talk about "coming soon" and "letter with shipping date". That means three weeks plus three weeks, plus three weeks......

I was afraid someone was going to say this, my bet is that we'll get'em towards the end of June
