How do you fly it anyways?

Actually I have been piloting some choppers fairly well. I just need whoever is gunning for me to keep me posted on where they need to be. Communication is the key i think. I know I have gunned for some here on tank and always had a really succesfull time taking out our enemies.

Helicopter is just the opposite of flying the UAV really.

Also gunning in the copter is abit tricky. At first I was trying to aim directly at my targets but wasnt working so well. Then I learned to setup my shot so that the momentum of the chopper leads my targets. So its less aiming and just initially setting up the shot.

Hey Marlin, not sure how it works for everyone else, but I normally don't send out invites.

Usually, I hop in and see about 5-20 AVSrs playing. I just use the home button to see if there is room in the game (from the xbox live screen), and if there is I join. I figure thats how most people do it. Its kinda has to work that way cause you can only squad up with 3 others. So what we do is try to at least get in the game, then squad up once in the game if we have more than 4 AVSrs on at one time. We also then start up an XBL party so at least up to 8 of us can cross chat.

So, I would just look to see who is playing, then jump in. Probably put AVS as your clan tag so we all know (at first) you are AVS.

Is this what everyone else does for the most part when there are alot of us on?

I hope for an invite but if I see an open slot I'll jump in. Problem is that you AVS types are resilient and rarely leave the room so there's a good chance that I'll be on the other team

It kinda tough, I try to keep an eye on the scoreboard and note if there is a spot open. If I see one, and know someone was looking to get in, I will send one, but, sometimes, by the time you do all that, the spot is gone anyway.

Yeah, I typically don't send out invites unless a regular AVS player just signs on and we have room on our squad (typically earlier in evening). Beyond that I also check now and again to see who has joined on our team team and will send party invite to all if there AVSers on our team and not in squad.

Thanks to Kabob's list and recent posters I'm realizing how many of you I haven't played with yet and sent out a bunch of friend requests.

For the most part try to use process Hoosier described and see if you can jump in a game. Sometimes it's a pain to get switched over from enemy side when team is already full but recently we've been rolling with 4-8 so should be able to get everyone on the same team/party!

Looking at the stats I'm sort of surprised by the low number of Engineers and Snipers we have (or those who use 'em as their class the majority of the time at least). Figured that both of those would be pretty high but only 2 snipers?

i play sniper a good portion of the time, but on ANY given map, if i'm not an engineer, the vehicles will wreak havoc on my team.... i'm kinda forced to be an engineer because I'm so good at it.

my class selection is pretty balanced though..

lovin them so far! they do everything the AD700's do, and better... i'm still in the testing phase as far as positioning and detail are concerned because you dont rely on it as much in battlefield and i'm addicted.

I have like 100 medic points. This class doesn't intrest me. Maybe when I rank up my other classes then I'll work on it. It's like my sniper class in MW2, I hate it.

Just got the game over the weekend and love it so much more than MW2. Playing as a medic I find myself in the top 3 of team scores (so much better than MW2 where I just sucked). The team aspect of it appeals to me so much more. Looking forward to actually playing on a squad with guys with mic's working together.

Ha yesterday wasn't my day, sorry guys....

After work tried to jump in a game with scrub, gunslinger and some others all squaded up played a few rounds then next thing I know I'm alone with party and squad split up when I accepted invite from terry lol, I jumped off to eat at the time and later evening before I went to bed wanted to get one more round in. Did not get much better luck, ended up in a squad with snake and robbo in a half empty server playing laguna pressa. Got overrun yet again, ended up 0-5 for the day probably worst game since launch.

Oh well I guess that means it has be better today?
