In my initial panic, I installed the game to the hard drive but then had a duh moment when I realized that it still needed to read the disc to play off the hard drive. When I played last night, I played off the disc just because I was so shocked to see it even show up on my dashboard, I jumped all over it.

ya i'm bout to toss RDR, completed teh single player, doing side stuff now but teh bugs are really gettin on my nerves. Back to BF pretty soon. Stats went way down from bronzing out all of the weapons though =(

lol at your conspiracy theory orange but I do think RDR contributed significantly -- glad your problem wasn't as serious as you thought!

gismo, terry and anyone else who's worried we're all leaving -- out of all the AVS members that got this game I think they'll always be people playing. Bro Grim, Big Orange and I have been playing pretty much throughout the "dry spell" and most recently been seeing geovanni on pretty often also. Last night I think we had just about everyone who's still regularly playing and had a full party so it was a good time even though we got whopped by what seemed like a clan all on one team.

jon, we were talking strictly rank, skill i know will be a different list good to hear some are coming out of retirement soon

I will be on more after tonight, just RDR and the summer schedule has killed me (softball, cookouts, bachelor party, wedding...). Razor would be on too, but he's working nights now M-Thur and hasn't really been playing unless he can come over and hook up to my second TV.

I'd love to join you guys online but for whatever reason I haven't been using my xbox lately. Not really sure why. I still like this game but I feel like I should be playing RDR since I have barely touched it.

Yeah I picked up RDR just recently and haven't been playing that much -- although it's a great game I know it's not going anywhere so rather jump on BC2 while the AVS crew is on

I never succumbed to the attraction of RDR, my wallet would not let me! EDIT: I wish bfbc2 had combo awards, a few nights ago while defending the last B on Nelsons 5hit Lagoon with the medic+both health kits I got a 600+ combo, maybe higher but I was too busy reviving my peers.
I think I'm doing pretty good too:

I downloaded the update before I went to work today just to see if our old stats were kept and corrected but unfortunately they are not. Whatever stats you had before the update will remain, but moving forward the stats should track correctly.

Sad since I basically completely leveled up my Engineer class using the M1A1, but I don't mind that they are lost as long as I can get my two "All Bronze" Insignias now

yep had plans on playing but now that the download has been sitting at 1% for 30 minutes and xbox is bricking up at every screen =\\ not tonight i guess. sorry, back to rdr single for the night =(
