bad company 2 - Page 2

Hey whiskey, maybe you can answer this for me. How do you get to unlock the special kits in Battlefield BC? It says to go UNLOCK page in the menu and enter the required code. Maybe I am missing something, but I cant find it. Anyone else?

some of the guns can only be unlocked by pre order codes! I have everything unlocked, except about 5 that say I have to get the codes elsewhere, can't remember where. Yeah, just play ranked matches and every 2 levels I think that you go up you get an unlock credit.

I did the same thing. By the way Gamestop has the limited priced the same as the regular version. I simply pre-ordered both and after getting my beta key will cancel it afterwards.

I believe the gun at the bottom of each "kit" needs a code. If will say something to the effect that you need to visit the Battlefield site to find the codes for the collect all five. Here is what I have that worked for me.

M60 = try4andrunforcov3r
USAS12= awsomef1rep0wer

I am not sure what I did with the one for the sniper rifle and the Uzi but you can find them online with a little searching. I believe there is only that I have not had any luck with, it was an assault rifle. I have not had any luck with codes for that one.

Whiskey, Video was awesome! Certainly stunning visuals! I love the COD series but something about the vehicles and squads keeps me intrigued more with the Battlefield series. Can't wait!

Be careful. When I preordered mine it specifically said that you wouldn't be able to cancel once you got your code. Maybe you know away around this...

Can you go prone like the old Battlefield?
^Read my mind. Thought it was very strange that in BC1 the sniper could only crouch. I mean a sniper that can only crouch, WTF?!?

Hopefully they fixed this in BC2.

I'm almost at top level on 1943 and once I reach it I'm thinking of making the jump to BFBC1 multiplayer to get ready for BC2.

I'm sure it will be frustrating initially since I'm sure only the top players are still left playing BC1 and will probably eat up noobs like me I figure that it would be better to get more familiar with gameplay since it seems BC2 shares a lot of the same kits and weapons.

Here is the latest official video, this time no mistaking that this is real gameplay!

Thanks. I will have to check about that tonight.

Looking better all the time. This one will definitely rock!

Being that I'm a big 360 fan, I also have a PS3. I got the Bad Company 2 beta yesterday, and have about two hours of gameplay so far. It's a big jump from Bad Company, and I'm really, really liking it. I know this is a 360 forum so I don't want to go on-and-on about a PS3. If you have a PS3, try and score a beta.

thanks for the update, can you give us some more details about what makes it better??
graphically it's much better. Much cleaner textures and everything just looks better. Looking forward to the 360 version as the beta pretty much sold me (can't stand the dual shock though).

You must be playing a different beta than I am.
All I can say is if it's this good on a PS3 (which is saying a lot) then it will be AWESOME on the 360.

Nope. Exactly the same except for the controller.
It is EA after all.
And 2009...

Yeah, I mostly agree. The graphics are better, but not THAT much better. Of course I'm of the opinion the Bad Company 1 had great graphics, especially considering all that goes on in the game.

Bad Company 2 will be Awesome without a doubt. They've basically just improved an already awesome game is many, many ways.

*They've expanded the ranking/upgrading system.
* Kills take far fewer shots, which feels better to me
* They've replaced stationary ammo crates with ammo boxes that are handed out by the Assault class (for points)
* Every class has a secondary weapon (pistol)
* The medic healing and reviving is quite different and better than before (imo).
* You even upgrade your melee weapons.

Really there are so many little things that it is hard to put into words.

They've said a demo will be out for all systems in January. Since the PSN beta ends on January 4th, the demo may come out around that time.

I can't wait for the full version release.

The more I think about this game the hotter it is to me. Ammo given out, not just laying around in some crates, that's hot. A guy could spend the whole game setting up drop points for the rest of the guys to come get their ammo.

I'm definitely going to pick this up.....I was a big BFII player when I was a PC gamer and that was one thing I missed on 360 though COD4/MWII has done a great job (never could get into Halo).

If this game delivers, I might take a lengthy break from MWII come next March.

I don't know man. Unlike the first game, this one requires the use of the d-pad. I can envision some very frustrating moments in the heat of battle with the 360 controller.

Also, although a bit awkward, it's possible to spot, aim and shoot all at the same time with the DS3. I don't think you will be able to do this with the 360 controller because of the left analog stick placement.

I am so tempted to rebuy Bad Company 1 on Games On Demand. $20 to always have that excellent multiplayer on my HDD? Yeah...

I'm with ya, BF2 was hands down one of the best games i've ever played.. Prior to "the" dumb patch was best. Been looking for a game on a console ever since that could touch it, hopefully this one will.

I really really can't wait for this game? Did I mention that already?
