HD-PVR + Sage on PC with Celeron 2.8Ghz processor?

Thread Starter
I have a PC I want to use as an HTPC for a HD-PVR + Sage set up. Comcast HD stb box outputting component to HD-PVR, which is connected to PC running Sage. PC is connected to TV and amplifier for video/audio. The idea would be for HD-PVR + Sage to be a complete HD-DVR for our living room. We'd always be watching TV via Sage, and recording stuff, etc.

The PC is running Vista and has 4GB of memory. Problem is, the PC is running an Intel Celeron 2.8Ghz processor. Not dual core. Hauppage says HD-PVR requires a dual core processor, but I've seen stuff on the net suggesting that you don't need it. Will I be okay or is this a killer? Thanks!

I do not know the answer, however, if the Hauppauge software is multithreaded then a dual core would be required.
Also very important is that you have a graphics card capable of fully decoding H.264 content with hardware acceleration enabled from Sage,
