What Subwoofer do you have with your Yamaha YSPs?

I don't own but I've read that the FSW100 Yamaha Subwoofer (intended for YSPs) are a good match.

Would like to hear from other YSP owners as well.

FSW100 with the YSP1100... set at 12 '0 clock .. works perfectly ..just the right amount of bass . unfortunetly there is no system connect with the 1100 which would allow me to power the sub from the YSP...

Can you explain what you mean by "there is no system connect with the 1100 which would allow me to power the sub from the YSP"?

Also, from what I've read, the FSW100 works in standby mode only if used with a YSP, is this true? I would hate to leave it on all the time but powering on and off is also a pain.

On some of the YSP's there is a system connector port which allows you to "hot wire" the unit to the same port on the FSW100 .. When you power on the YSP the FSW also powers on .. the 1100 does not have this connection.. the FSW100 has to be manually powered on/off .. no stand by ... Its no big deal but sometimes I forget to shut it down ..

Hmmm, so there is no standby on the FSW100, not sure what Yamaha was thinking when they made these since they are supposed to be matched with YSPs. You'd think that on an expensive model like the 1100 they would've had that worked out.

Are there any other budget subs that would be a good fit for the YSP-1100?
