Paradigm Studio 40 v.4

A local dealer has a clearance on these speakers for right at one grand. I can't find any reviews on this model, and I was told Paradigm stopped making the 40's.

I have a budget that allows me to buy either the Studio 40's, or Monitor 9/11 v.6. I will be using an SVS sub. My use will be 50/50 music/movies and PS3/360 too. I'm currently living in an apartment, but want something I can use when I move to a house soon. The Monitor series sounded really good in the low-end, but the Studio 40's had much clearer/crisper high range.

Would going with the Studio 40's and a sub, be the best choice?

That is exactly what I did and I couldn't be more pleased.

My L/R mains are a pair of 40s tied to their own Servo15. There's a separate sub for the LFE. I couldn't be happier.

Well, I suppose I could be happier, but there's the whole Statute of Limitations thing, and the not-legal-in-this-state thing, and.... um... I'll just stop there.

Anyway, I'm also in an apartment, but I'm sure the 40s would feel right at home in a home.
