Seven Polk Monitor 70 Speakers for my 7.1 setup?

I just got 6 Polk Audio Monitor 70 Speakers (on sale $180 each) for my 7.1 setup. While browsing thru this forum i found this super advanced post about how it is best if you have the same speaker for the center as the front L/R & how it is not such a great idea to have a horizontal center speaker. I'm wondering if i should get another Polk Audio Monitor 70 for the center. Any thoughts if this will work great or if this a case of newbie gone crazy....

(I don't yet have a receiver, but I'm planning on getting the Onkyo-807 when it comes out. I also have the Polk Audio PSW505B 12" Powered Subwoofer)

Sure,... if you have the room, go for it. Most people really need to compromise on their center speaker due to any number of reasons.

matched speakers "all around" is both a Dolby and DTS "ideal". It is very good if you want to venture into multi-channel music (SACD or DVD-A). If having a large tower in the center fits your layout - go for it !

Everything I have read about the Monitor 70's is they "like power" - lots of it. You might consider stepping down a bit on the SR807, and use the receiver as a pre-amplifier for a true 5.0 amplifier like the Emotiva XPA5 http://emotiva.com/xpa5.shtm --- just a thought.
