i'm in agreement, the series has grown tired, but this looks to be a revamp... looks good.

Conviction looked good, but so much for subtlety. Lots of frantic action, but not much strategy or stealth.

Kotaku's liveblog is as crappy and content free as you'd expect from Kotaku. Granted I realize this is a press conference and its not about handing out info but this thing is terrible.

Not complaining, but are they actually going to announce a game that isn't a sequel? So far :

Forza 3
Crackdown 2
Final Fantasy 13
Halo 3 : ODST
Splinter Cell - 1 million
Left 4 Dead 2

etc. etc.

I'd like to see some new franchises too... ya know... like Alan Wake. :P

they showed some original XBLA one being made by the Gears of wear team calm down.
