Is there a way to DL these new slides in a group or a way keeping the existing filename on them? When I try to DL from flickr it renames the file. Thanks.

I'm new to flicker myself, not sure. Once I make enough slides I'll find a better place to post them for DL's. I'm using a S-Video cable to it's in SD.

I do have a question for others though. I'm using Picasa 3 to display these in a slideshow on my 55" 16:9 DLP. The reason I sized them to 1350x1068 is that at that dimension they fill the screen correctly.

Is original size of the slides better for everyone else?

So I assume we can download these directly from your Flicker account?

Not all that familiar with flickr but I assume so, if not please suggest the settings I need to change so you can.

The original 16:9 ratio works much better for me.

yes 16x9 works better for me as well.
Thanks

My original templates are 1080X1920 resolution, so I'm not sure what is happening when gamephoenix uses them to make the Dark Knight and Terminator Salvation slides...

You may want to play around with the display/output settings on your TV and player to see if another option will play the slide files at 1080X1920 without any cropping or distortion.

I'm glad my templates have provided a good jumping-off point for you to make more slides for your home theater!

However, it might be less confusing for everyone if you started a separate thread for the slides you are creating and offering for download. Otherwise, some who visit this thread for my Coke Slides collection might wonder where my slides can be downloaded (the answer is: they can't).

Steven Kohus--your package was returned to me "Not Deliverable as Addressed". I used the address in the Paypal email... so, hmmm...

I have emailed you, again using the information that Paypal has on your account, but no response. I'm hoping that you see this message and will contact me, so I can re-send your disc.

Thanks!

Hi, Steven! I just sent payment for the latest Vol 1-6 of your wonderful slides. I purchased Vol 1-2 way back when and I've shown them to death at our Booth Bijou Garage Theater movie nights. Our theater guests will appreciate having some new trivia slides.

BTW, correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to recall that you once offered the slides with anamorphic compression applied. Is that still true? I play the slides from a dedicated home theater PC so I don't need the compression. It was a simple deal to set up a batch process in Photoshop to stretch them back out. Just wondering if I'll have to do that with these latest slides (I didn't see it mentioned in the first post in the thread).

Thanks for your great work with these slides!!

I just used the James Bond slides to put together a nice Pre-Show that also included some Bond Movie Trailers, Bond Commercials, Q-Tribute & 50 Tribute videos. It all worked wonderfully and your slides were awesome. Any plans to expand the Bond slides to include Quantum of Solace & Skyfall?

I have a nice chunk of time off in May, and am circling around the idea of doing one final Volume 7 to bring the Harry Potter slides up to date, and the Bond slides you already mentioned, etc. If I do a final set, you'll hear about them in this thread in June.

Glad you've enjoyed using the slides. Thanks for the kind words.

Steven
