But my gut's telling me that the new "Motion +" features are the foreshadowing of that new paint on the same old concept.
I'm totally OK with similar-but-different approaches to games (think Mario 64 and Galaxy), but if Ninty just pushes out TP+ they're losing a great opportunity to move things forward. They made some love it/hate it changes to Metroid with Prime, and that's lead to a whole new world of possibility for the series. Yeah, we lost the screw attack, super jumps, speed booster and whatnot, but gained new stuff like scans, visors and, perhaps most importantly, a story element.
I've come to like building Link up from 0, I can live with more fire/water/forest temples, talking to towns people for clues... but I can't help but feel like N's gotta great chance to bring a spark to this one, something more than just flashier cutscenes and motion+. Here's to hoping they find it.
