I think I have. As nice as it seems, and as pretty as it looks versus the sterile Denon, it sure runs hot and seems to burn a lot of power in standby. The one I saw at a magnolia's was too hot to touch on top in a cabinet that wasn't too constricting. I kind of get the sense that the 3900 is the inefficient, kludged-together model waiting to be replaced by something more modern with more integrated, lower power parts and smarter design. It gets the job done but I just have this eerie sense that Yamaha knows it can do better and indeed plans to with a future model.
