Figure this is the best place to get an answer on this here. Is there a difference in the size of a jumper that works on a 3.5" HDD and a 2.5" laptop HDD and if so what is it and where the heck can I get the 2.5" jumpers.

Jumper?

Are you using SATA or PATA? I don't think SATA drives need jumpers.

Probably small. If need be, you can probably get a conductive pen and make a trace between the two pins. I doubt much voltage goes through those pins.

Um? Yeah my tech level for PC's is pretty low. I am using the HDD in a PS3 actually. I need the Corky answer.
