You bought something, and now want to know if it's a good deal? Isn't that backwards?
Yeah it should be, but it was a impulse buy, i dont know much about home audio but i THINK it pretty cheap compared to the dayton a100 that they sell at partsexpress for $85 considering this has over twice the power for half the price. and i could still cancel the order if it wasn't.
If it's going in a Definitive ProSub 600 and is in good condition then yes it's a good deal. If not it might or might not be. Sub amplifiers often have filters for the specific application. That was intended for the ProSub 600. Depending on the application it could have less than desirable results.
No he means it might have EQ (ie filters) built into it to compensate for the specific speaker driver and cabinet it is being placed. If it has filters it could make the sound worse in your situation.
