Need component cable that's separable

I know this is weird, but bear with me!

I have my wii hooked up to my TV and receiver, which are not immediately adjacent to each other. I want to hook up the wii with a component cable instead of the cable it came with, but I need one that will allow the audio and video parts of the cable to separate for at least 5-6 feet. But when I go looking for cables, I find a lot like this one or this one, where audio and video connectors can't be separated my more than a few inches (it looks like, anyway).

Does anyone have an idea of where I could find the kind of cable I need, or what terms I could use to search? ("Detachable" doesn't work, it's some other kind of wii accessory.)

Appreciate any advice!

You most likely won't find what you are looking for. Your best bet is to just use the solution I'm using. Just buy a couple rca "barrel" connectors and another set of stereo RCA cables to extend the audio to your receiver. Alternatively you could buy a set of stereo RCA cables that are male on one end and female on the other.

Yeah, this is what you want:

31 cents each. Use them with the stereo rca cables of your choice for the audio.

Ah, that makes sense. I sure wish they just made these like the old RCA cables that you could split as you needed to.

Thanks for the help

Don't spend too much on the component cables, either.
