In my house we have a great room with lots of light, views of the lake. I am lucky I have the two rooms and no compromises in either.
What I think of you room? Doesn't matter. You obviously have what you want and that's all that counts. Enjoy. I would be glad to be there and listen for long hours with you. And watch too. The Weavers Reunion Album would sound fantastic in there. Close your eyes and we would be in Carnegie Hall.
I have a pass labs xa30.5 running the mains. Class A 30 watt amp sounds great with these speakers. They really dont require much power.
The acoustics in this room were a best guess... There was not a great way for me to test speakers intermittently while applying diffusion surfaces during construction so i just put as much diffusion in as I possibly could. I didnt have the money to setup a ton of QRD style diffusers since the price would have been huge. The hemifusors that I guessed at worked really well though.
I didnt have any extra budget to be finding special contractors. I wanted to have a hard floor in the room, so EVERY other surface including the ceiling is bumpy with diffusion to compensate.
Even the RPG whitepaper about diffusion concedes that there is no absolute way to know how a room will sound till after it is done so i took a chance with my design. I figured i could re-do the surfaces behind the fabric panels if the acoustics sucked.
The overall acoustics are quite phenomenal and i get countless enjoyment out of the whole setup. I am going to get a good new mic and do new measurements and see what kinda plots are created in this room. I could add some more subtle adjustment with DIRAC live or something potentially.
