Besides, in this particular given case where it seems they copied from apple, it is quite possible they really didnt. It is about delivery and tracking business, so it is quite possible that UPS company provided them with this info, to be thorough, exact and precise.
That's a bit of a stretch. They have allegedly also lifted things from the NMT forums too. And if you take parts [1] or [2] of the one quote I supplied and google them you'll see it only appears on Apple websites.
I care most about the quality of product too, but presentation is also part of that quality IMHO. What's the value of a brand that can't even be bothered to make its own websites or web pages (let alone make them presentable)? Instead using a patchwork of other people's words and ideas to create a brand or image for itself? It's pretty friggin' lazy and I don't like it, to be truthful. I don't think most other people here do either. It doesn't show a lot of respect for their own brand, product, or customers IMHO.
I didn't mean to start this raging debate on plagerism, but as a customer I went to look for some information and saw the quote about 'ENGRAVING' and it really stuck out like a sore thumb that whoever wrote this page clearly didn't think it was worth the time to write it themselves or even proof read it to make sure it was relevant to their product.
But hey, having said all of that and shelled out for the player already I'm with most of you who are just hoping it lives up to expectations. I hope the final product is worth all of this corner cutting.
