Mission Impossible 4 confirmed - Page 14

Ahh okay. I love the crazy hi resolution in proper IMAX. Makes me long for real 4k at home.... or think about having my face up against that Sharp 8k screen at CES this past January.

Finally! Brad Bird understands the Mission Impossible shtik!

This movie paid tribute to the MI episodes with Peter Graves directing a real ensemble team whose sum was greater than its parts.

Previous MI movies with Tom Cruise seemed to be all about Tom Cruise.

Brad gets it: the combination of diverse talents astonishes us.

Now I'm a bit sorrowful that he's not in the running to direct the next episode.

Very entertaining. Sound quality is on par with other top notch movies in the category.
Has anyone else thought that Paula Patton may be related to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson? Without looking up IMDB, that was my first impression in this scene (she is attractive in other scenes though).

I agree that Paula Patton did look amazingly like The Rock in the picture you posted. Although I don't think Patton is ugly, her looks struck me as falling far short of the spectacular beauty one usually sees in leading ladies in Tom Cruise flicks. She is a no more than an adequate actress, I think. In short Patton seemed to me to be the weak link among the four lead characters

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For me, I can't think of one of TC leading lady that I would take over Paula Patton. I think she is a beauty.

I hear you but I think you will agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What can I say? Paula Patton just didn't appeal to me in MI4. Clearly, somebody saw something in her, though, or she wouldn't have got the MI4 job.

She did with her cleavage. She could have done better if they showed her real asset but didn't. She didn't do a great job with acting though. It was noticeably weak at times especially during the ride in BMW i8 (concept car). She tried to look anxious and serious but failed.
