I'm curious- with PowerDVD making claims as to:
Playing DVDs off the hard drive
Playing Blu-Rays in my PC's DVD drive
Presumably, playing DVD-Audio as well off the hard drive, presumably available by simple copy of the Audio_TS folder from the original media to the hard drive
has anyone evaluated using PowerDVD (or a competitor) instead of buying a separate player? I need the DVD-A feature, and what I'm looking to improve upon is the HDMI bugaboo- if I am listening to a DVD-A in my separate component then if I try to surf the 'net the DVD-A must stop playing as the player loses its HDMI handshake when my AVR swiches to my HTPC source.
