Hello All,
I am trying to decipher all the ohms and watts in the specification sheets to ensure I don't blow up my components and hard earned cash. Your help will be very much appreciated.
I am from the Middle East, and unfortunately separate sound systems are not a big deal here. Limited models and huge mark-ups (everyone is into HTIBs) makes mixing and matching all that much harder
I have decided to go with the Yamaha RX-V563 Receiver as it satisfies my two requirements (HDMI 1080p video passthrough as well as audio LPCM from my PS3, and 2 optical ins)
Now I am looking for speaker sets that will go with this receiver and here is what is available in my budget range:
1) JBL SCS140
2) Jamo A102 HCS5
I have specifications for all these three devices (Decided not to post them here as it might make an already long post even longer, and can't link as this is my first post...Yay!). But please request the spec numbers you would like to know (Power, Impedance, etc.) and I will post it down.
So to reiterate, which one of these two will be compatible (not blow up or be blown up by) the Yamaha.
Thank you and don't hesitate to request additional details and clarifications
