I recently bought a pretty nice 40 inch samsung lcd tv. I have been wanting to beef up my sounds with a 2.1 setup. I have been looking at this very slick looking combo here that is roughly $799 list price vs buying my own speakers and receiver. The model is HT-BD7200 and it is a 400 watt system. I assume its 150 per floor speaker and 100 to the sub.
For about the same price I can get the 5.1 receiver and two polk monitor 60 speakers and a matching polk 100 watt subwoofer. The samsung has style points, but I don't think the blue ray player will get used. Any advice on which route would give better sound for my xbox and streamed movies/tv shows? I also like music. Thanks.

vs this system:

Units Mid/Woofer: 3 - 5-1/4" Diameter (13.34cm), Dynamic Balance Bi-laminate composite cone driver, magnetically shielded
Tweeter: 1 - 1" Diameter (2.54cm), Dynamic Balance Silk/polymer composite dome, magnetically shielded
Power Rating 20 - 200 w/channel
Frequency Response 38Hz - 25kHz
Nominal Impedance 8 ohms

Driver Units 1 - 10" Diameter (25.40cm), Dynamic Balance Polymer Composite cones
Power Rating Power Output: 100 watts Continuous Average Output
Dynamic Power Output: 200 watts
Frequency Response 32Hz-250Hz
I am not sure what receiver I would use for these speakers.
