Shoulder feels great, however, no lifting anything over 5lbs for 6 weeks. So that delays any work in the basement or yard.
My next project is convoluted so I'll try to explain as best as possible.
1. Move TV from living room and mount behind the basement bar.
a. It's a Phillips 37" flat screen, and I'm not sure if there's a mount that will fit the screen. I need to measure the mounting points so I can see what Monoprice has.
2. Take the 42" Sony (Currently in my office and I don't want to give it up) and mount over the fireplace in the living room.
a. The challenge is that we have a rock wall so I have to remove stone to attach the mount.
b. We moved the built in cabinets that were to the left of the fireplace down to the basement. My wife wanted an armoire installed in the space, well now she hates it. So I have to do design and build another built in and at the same time install a power bridge so I can install the TV over the Fireplace. Also it's an internet ready TV so I need to figure out how to run a CAT 5 down to the basement and up tot he TV. I think I'll cut a major hole in the drywall beside the fireplace so I can route the cables away from the fireplace itself. The hole will be covered with beadboard (or something) when I do the built-in so shouldn't be a big deal.
I need to attach pics so that this makes more sense....
Basement before built-ins relocated from upstairs, notice the big empty space to the left of the screen wall...
After installing the built-in, eventually these were painted black
Oh I guess this picture sums up the whole process that occurred.
