Basement is being refinished and the new living room will be about 20'x14'.
I currently own an Onkyo 705 receiver, Axiom M60 fronts, Axiom VP150 center channel, and a HSU VTF2 MK3.
I'm going to be getting matching (4x) Axiom QS8's.
I can do this completely hidden in the wall, but I have a couple questions.
Do you run a short cable from the components to the 7.1 wall jack, then run in wall cable to a single speaker 2 post jack, then another short run from the jack to the speaker?
I believe I am going to need the following:
7.1 wall plate with gold-plated terminals
Subwoofer wall plate
7x single speaker wall plates.
1x sub speaker wall plate
200' of in wall speaker cable
25' of regular cable (for the short runs)
Coax cable
42 banana/spades
6 sub terminations
Does this sound right and am I missing anything?? Thanks.
