I am also considering the 4810 instead of the upcoming 4311 as I just sold my trusty but outdated Denon 5803.
I'm considering the 4810 because I would really like to run a complete DSX setup, don't really care about 3-D and want a robust quality built unit.
I currently have the speakers for the complete 11.1 DSX setup and it would be nice to be able to use them all.
(5 M&K S-5000's for the front mains and wide)
2 M&K SS 500's for side surrounds,
2 M&K SW 95's for surround backs
2 M&K B1600's for height
1 M&K MX 5000 sub
The 4810 seems to have all the processing I'm looking for and will be used only for a main zone and mostly as a pre/pro.
The main channels and 2 other channels will be driven by my 7 channel B&K amp.
The 4311 does have some nice new features (Dual HDMI out, Dolby Dynamic Volume, and more advanced Audyssey MultEq XT 32 but at what sacrifice besides just price?
Given my criteria I'm still thinking the 4810 is the better fit for me.
Thoughts or suggestions?
