JVC RS1 won't shut down with Harmony One?

I ran into this with the RS10, I had to add an extra off command in the shutdown process. I used the H1 with my HD1 and never ran into this, worth a try though.

My RS1 wouldn't shut off with the H1 either - a second power off command will do it. Logitech customer support is really good, they walked me through it.

The JVC is a dual press off command. Once to start it, and then a screen pops up asking to confirm by pressing off again. I usually find you need a .5 second delay between presses to be reliable.

I'm using an H1 with an RS2 (Pioneers fpj1) and it has always shutdown the PJ via "activity sequence" or by device without issues. I was actually surprised that I didn't have to provide anything extra to account for the dual command. Can't offer any tips except that the normal remote setup worked for me.

Did you use the Pioneer commands or JVC? Though they are the same IR codes, I wonder if in 1 they used the dual off and the other they did not... worth checking.

Good point, I used Pioneer's Pro-FPJ1 codes.

As Jason mentioned already, you can increase the time out delay in between the two commands sent to the JVC pj to shut it off.
