The world's largest online-video site isn't into "grainy."

YouTube has doubled the size limit of user-generated video uploads in what it says is an attempt to let users upload more high-definition videos.

YouTube increased the limit per video to 2 gigabytes from 1 gigabyte, the company said on its blog late last week. YouTube also added a page advising users on how to best view HD videos and embed them into users' Web pages.
