That's when OnDemand comes to the rescue.

It was a good show, and the "fat girl" comments cracked me up.

Hey Pete you stole the words right out my mouth about Myka..

I woulda ended up kissing her myself.. but that's me..

This season the producers have really nailed it. After all when a person thinks of the important qualities of a Secret Service agent they immediately think of lame slapstick. The showrunner looked at what makes the FOX show Bones work so well and used it as a template, only dumbed way down.

I'm starting to like WH13 more and more, I want to see more H.G. Definitely a girls night out episode.

I almost didn't recognize Lindsay Wagner.

Funny I didn't have a problem with it.Yes she's aged quite a bit but so have we. Just compare a photograph with what you look like now versus 10 years ago?

It took me a few seconds to recognize her. Afterward I kept thinking that she resembled a twenty years younger Lauren Ball, which in my mind isn't a bad thing.

Did anyone else notice that the streak in Claudia's hair kept disappearing and reappering in scenes that were right next to each other?

The show is getting a bit too cutesy for me. Last season it was a bit more on the straight serious side, now they seem to be ucking it up. Don't mine a little light banter tossed in but my take is we are approaching 50% comedy.

... And she kept changing clothes too ... not a mistake, it was a "subtle" plot point: i.e. trying to be "mature like Myka" vs being herself.

I still like the show... but seeing your post was funny, because I was thinking EXACTLY what you said earlier today. I was noting that last season seemed a bit more serious, with some light moments to break things up... whereas this season seems much more light in tone.

To be honest... I think this show would be MUCH better if it were more serious for the bulk of the plot. They can have humor to lighten the moment, especially in non-plot-advancing scenes... but it feels like the entire episode doesn't have enough weight to it... I don't get the feeling like anything really bad is going to happen if they don't retrieve the artifact from one week to the next.

Except for a couple of poor college kids bursting into flames.

I agree, this season has had much more comedic tones to it. However, I find myself really enjoying it. I like the cast and they entertain me.

Its the highest rated of the Syfy series. I am sure they do not want to mess with it and then end up with Caprica type ratings.

Yeah... but if that happened in real life, and you were Claudia's age... I think you'd be a bit more freaked out than she was. I'd be messed up a bit at my age if I saw someone spontaneously combust and burn to death right in front of me like that.

Even what should be heavy scenes aren't given any weight really... and that just seems weird. It's like no one was really bothered (even people on the team and the coach) by a couple of guys on the team dying like that.

Agreed. It beats the h.ll out of a show that's all doom and gloom with everyone at each other's throats. I tune in to be entertained and this show does that. Save the soap operas for daytime TV.

Odd too because the previous 2 shows in that series had more in common with Warehouse 13 than the new one- I think that's why the fans (including me) dislike it so much. It's one thing to make a show dark, but if that's all its got going it begins to get a bit stale.

Well, the best part of this weeks episode was the previews for next week. HG is coming back. Also, good to see Laura Harris back on the tube. I loved her in Dead Like Me as Daisy Adair.

I thought it was funny when Myka was in Pete's body, his voice was higher. When they are in their own bodies, Pete's voice is higher than Myka's!!!
The funniest moment for me was when Myka was in Pete's body and she was covering his nipples while talking to the vet.
I enjoyed the Myka, "Don't touch anything!" comment when Pete had to pee.
mmm I woulda touch everything.. well she/he had to.. why didn't Pete said the same thing to Myka? lol...

If I switched bodies with the opposite sex I probaly would touch everything! (and so would most of you!)

I would have been all over me! No one would see me again for a week.
Weird since Futurama has an episode just last week of body switching.. was going on? LOL
post #329 of 670
It seems like every SF/Fantasy show has to have a body switching episode. Fringe and Haven will probably have one before they are done. Was Star Trek the first with "Turnabout Intruder"?

Fringe has already gone well beyond that idea with mind transference to dead bodies....
