I have Denon AVR-3310 and pair of Monitor Audio silver RX6 (2 1/2 way-125W each) floor standing speakers and Monitor Audio subwoofer RXW12 (500W).
Until now floor standing front speakers were connected in "normal" way - each one with twin lead cable (Van den Hul Snowline ... and both to Denon speaker outlet FRONT-A (R&L). I keep a jumper on the back side of speakers between HF&LF connectors.... S/W was connected to S/W out with trigger cable...
Now, I want to setup a 2.1 system, but to use bi-wiring and bi-amp
... the question is how to do that? Have to buy 5 m of speaker cable for bi-wiring what is additional cost... Is there some gain or I'll just spend some time and money trying to get something, if?
So far I'm using whole system mostly to listen music and stereo is quite enough and sometimes for movies. Seems center speaker is missing a little, sometimes... not sure about surround speakers ... do I need them or not
To connect both front L&R speaker connection HF (tweeter) to FRONT-A
L&R or to FRONT-B
L&R or that is the same (tell me, please, then what for we can use in the best way front-A/B left/right outputs?
) and both LF (bass/mid) to SBL/SBR ... or in different way? Which one, please?
What about this....
to connect in parallel both HF to AVR Center speaker output and both LF to FRONT-A L&R or to FRONT-B L&R and not to SBL/SBR ....
or.... keep all as it is, save some money and one day buy a center speaker
Thanks for your time and effort
Best regards, Josip
