So fearing the worst, I have been considering the 3313, with some nice new features (not the least of which being a 3 year warranty), but not being made of money the $1200.00 price tag is somewhat discouraging.
I see several recommendations here with a $350-up price to fix to just buy a new unit (troubles with the 3310, warranty, etc.). The 3313 has some advantages and some disadvantages over the 3310, but all in all it is not so significant I would be opposed to the 3313. However, again, not being made of money; I was wondering, since the 3310's appear to be such lemons, if there were not a lot of abandoned 3310's sitting dead out there in some storage closet with updated network cards and other such useful parts available to poor souls like myself.
I guess my real question is; Is there a cheaper way to put the fix on my 3310 if it proves to be something major (as I fear it may)?
