Now that I have your attention. D-Nice calibrated my 500M on Thursday. What a gentleman, he endured So Cal traffic which caused him to be late nearly two hours, he never rushed the calibration. He finished at about 830 pm and still had another calibration to do, 60 miles away!!! And then return 110 miles back to his hotel. Dedicated professional.

So as you can see my panel was a bit skewed originally. Way too much red, but I had adjusted to it. I prefer watching in a semi dark room with bias lighting on.

I'd saved for the calibration but had wavered back and forth after reading some opiinions on post calibration here and the other forum. Having D-Niice do the calibration was a dream, that I chose to wait for. There are many great calibrators out there, but I wanted "The MAN".


The Dark Knight was awesome, Fios is awesome, "Fringe" looked almost 3-D. I can't get over the detail and depth I was missing. I'll view some other Blu Rays. The Super Bowl on Sunday was absolutely flawless. But from the couple hours of viewing so far I am more than pleased with the results. Black levels which were good before and detail our now WOW!!!! I am pleased to not touch a thing as perfection in my eyes view has been achieved. I will be happy with this panel for many years to come.

So if you are on the fence I highly recommend calibrating your Kuro's. I love my results. Thanks again D-Nice, it was well worth the wait.

If you can find a 101FD I would jump on it. I bought my 500m from pioneer directly and they told me it was their last one!!!! I almost didn't get one so do yourself a favor. Get the 101FD even at 3k (not actual price just taking a guess) it would be a deal as it is now a game of chance.
