Got my response from the manucfacturer:
Thanks for your interest in the neuhuas laboratories T-2 amp. The main DAC chip used is Cirrus Logic 24 bit /96 KHz. But we actually incorporate two chips. I know a lot of people are touting 24 bit and 96 KHz, but you need to remember that iTunes only supports 16/44. Also if you attach our amp to an Apple Airport Express to send your music anywhere in your home from your computer to the T-2 in a different part of your home it also only supports 16/44. We tested many other chips especially 24 bit units and they did not sound well with iTunes which is what most people use to store their music, which is why we also have a 16/44 chip.
Headphone plug input is standard 1/4". Amp specs are on our web site. Plugging in headphones disables the external speakers.
We have been working on this amp for a while now I think you will notice tube audio in combination with digital music is awesome. Your digital files have never sounded so good.
So I don't think I would compare it with the Nova, it might be an interesting comparison with the Decco.
