Hallo everyone,
I was wonder if anyone knows, if there is any HD media player that'll play Vob files, have a big remote with numbers, can play 2 audio channels, and can selects files with the number on the remote.

For example, if I have 2,000 karaoke vob files songs. Instead of selecting songs from the menu, I can just press the number on the remote and that particular song will play. Please help me.

The only HDD Media player is MediaGate MG-350HD (DVI) or MG-450HD (HDMI) that can turn off the lyrics on the 2nd audio channel.
BTW, my friend has 2000+ songs in VNese that he is using MG-350HD to sing Karaoke.

Good lucks my friend "Ke~Vo^Tinh`"

I bought the Ace Karaoke HDD player from ace-karaoke.net. It works like the Arrirang machines except that if you are like me who only like the DVD karaokes then this works perfectly. You can rip DVD songs into individual VOB files and use the remote to select the song by browsing or entering a number just like the Arrirang Medi files.

Hello all,

I have a collection of over 300+ karaoke DVDs, I recently built myself a HTPC with HDMI output. I'm looking for a karaoke software that can rip the DVD into whatever format and plays them like a regular DVD player with the ability to turn off vocal. I have search on Google for this, but most of the karaoke software use cd+g or mp3+g which I find is far inferior to karaoke DVD. I have also tried several software demos such as MTU hoster, or Unify Karaoke, none of which can do what I need.

Is there anybody on the same boat as I?

Dude, your answer is Brite-View. Get the CinemaTube model or the BV-6000P (same as CinemaTube without network). I use it to play iso/vob dvd/vcd images, rmvb movies, and hd movies. It has a full feature remote that will allow you to seamlessly change the audio l/r and subtitles with a push of a button. This device should take care of all your media playing needs.

Have you tried tkaraoke of tkaraoke.com? You have to do some work but I think it is worth it.

Excuse me for replying to such an antique post. I purchased the same, or similar 2HDD machine from the same firm. Terrible customer service despite their "Golden Service Plan" thing on their site--but the machine works good for us. Zillions of songs and fun to use. We are veterans of 10 years in Tokyo, so we wanted something we could really use. This did the trick. Do you add songs? I have never, and want to know if it's easy.
