Got my 3 x T12 vented on Friday, replacing 3 x Klipsh KL-650-THX for L-C-R
I was not expecting them to be so big - a very "intimidating" look to them with their sinister black finish.
I had Jeff mount the coax on the top position for L & R.
Sorry, not gonna post pics as my theatre room is still too "not-ready" -> held together by duct-tape, shoelaces, and chewing gum -> a-la MvGyver
FYI: room is about 18' x 21' x 9'
T12 hooked up via Yamaha RX-A3010 receiver, crossed at 80 Hz, and helped out by a pair of Submersive-HP.
Even though the former Klipsch are rated at 99db, and had to jack up the subs more-so than the expected 2db -> Jeff states the T12 at 101db.
Right out of the gate, the T12 centre channel dialogue was superior in clarity, added deatil ,and "large-ness" to the sound.
Tonight I will run the T12 via Yamaha into NuForce MCH-3SE-C7 amp and see if it is better.
FYI I had owned most all of the top pre/pros during my pre-HDMI days, and a Cary 11A when HDMI became mainstream
But I am trying to make do with just a reciever for sake of the simplicity if the "penalty" is not too great.
