Not really, They are both still using CD's, I can't imagine they are going to be different enough to sound funny together, even Jeff didn't think it was a bad idea, thats why he suggested to me to go with the sealed Noesis. If in the future he comes out with a 8" version of the noesis, I'd likely grab on of them too
I'd rather have another Noesis but as you can see, it's not really an option. I ran a Klipsch RC64 II with my T12's when I first got them for almost a year, it sounded great IMO. I had actually ordered a custom sealed T8 but then Jeff said there was enough interest in the sealed version that he was going to make a whole line of sealed speakers and I didn't have to pay the extra to have a custom T8 sealed one made
. My max height under my screen in 10.5 inches, so the ported versions are just to big to fit.
I'll be quite honest, Although timber matching is important, I feel people make a bigger deal than it is. I've heard many MANY systems with mismatched speakers and some have been amazing, just liek I've heard many system with all matching speakers and it sound like garbage.
